Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Bisk ("Bisk," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information submitted through joinbisk.com (the "Site"). This policy applies to business contacts and representatives who interact with the Site in a professional capacity. The legal entity operating this Site is identified in the Contact Us section below.

We are committed to handling your information responsibly and transparently. Please read this policy carefully.

2. Information We Collect

We currently collect information that you voluntarily provide to us through contact and inquiry forms on the Site. This may include:

  • Your name and job title
  • Your business or organization name
  • Business email address and phone number
  • The content of any message or inquiry you submit

We may also collect certain technical information automatically when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited. This information is collected through standard web server logs and, if applicable, analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about Bisk's GPO programs and services
  • To evaluate your interest in or eligibility for membership
  • To send you relevant updates, program announcements, or other communications related to Bisk (with your consent where required)
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may share information with trusted vendors and service providers who assist us in operating the Site or conducting our business (e.g., email platforms, CRM tools, web hosting), subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Vendor Partners: In connection with the GPO's purpose, we may share relevant business contact information with participating Vendor Partners when necessary to facilitate a program or offer you have expressed interest in. We will not share your information with Vendor Partners for their own independent marketing purposes without your consent.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or regulatory authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bisk, our members, or others.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, information we hold may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice of such a transfer as required by law.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to support site functionality and analyze how visitors interact with the Site. Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some cookies are essential to the operation of the Site, while others help us understand usage patterns and improve the Member experience.

5.1 Types of Cookies We Use

  • Essential Cookies: These cookies are necessary for the Site to function and cannot be disabled. They include cookies that remember your session state and support basic navigation.
  • Analytics Cookies: We use or plan to use third-party analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to collect aggregated, anonymized information about how visitors use the Site — such as pages visited, time spent, and referring sources. This data helps us improve the Site over time. Google Analytics may set its own cookies on your device. For more information on how Google uses this data, visit google.com/policies/privacy/partners.

5.2 Your Choices

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse new cookies, delete existing cookies, or be notified when a cookie is set. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.

We do not currently use advertising pixels or cross-site tracking technologies for retargeting or paid advertising purposes. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

5.3 Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. The Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, as there is no industry-standard way to interpret them. We will update this disclosure if that changes.

6. Data Retention

We retain the information you provide for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, maintain our business records, or comply with applicable legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You may contact us at any time to request access to or correction of information we hold about you, request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements), or opt out of receiving marketing or non-essential communications from us. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@joinbisk.com.

8.1 Current Data Practices

As of the effective date of this policy, Bisk does not sell personal information to third parties for monetary compensation. We share information only as described in Section 4 of this policy. If our data sharing practices change in a material way, we will update this policy and notify Members as required by applicable law.

8.2 State Privacy Rights

Depending on the state where you are located, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information under applicable state privacy laws. While Bisk's membership base consists of business entities and their authorized representatives — not individual consumers — we recognize that authorized representatives are natural persons, and we take those rights seriously.

  • California: If you are a California resident acting as an authorized representative of a Member business, certain rights under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) may apply to personal information we hold about you in that capacity. These may include the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to delete your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not currently sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA. To submit a privacy request, contact us at info@joinbisk.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
  • Other States: A growing number of states — including Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Texas, and others — have enacted privacy laws that may provide residents with similar rights. We will honor verifiable privacy requests from residents of these states to the extent required by applicable law. If you believe you have rights under your state's privacy law that are not addressed here, please contact us and we will work with you in good faith to respond appropriately.

8.3 Business Contact Information

Please note that many state privacy laws are primarily designed to protect individual consumers and may provide limited or no rights with respect to information collected in a purely business-to-business context. Bisk collects information about individuals only in their professional capacity as representatives of Member businesses. We believe this limits the scope of consumer privacy law applicability to our operations, but we nonetheless commit to handling all personal information responsibly and responding to reasonable requests in good faith.

9. Links to Other Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites and encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting any information.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
